TB Testing & Advisory Visits

Here at Pembrokeshire Farm Vets we can provide full herd TB testing and aim to perform your tests competently and professionally. We appreciate that this is a good time to discuss the herd and any health or management queries. We are also happy to provide any other veterinary services during the TB test, such as blood sampling, pregnancy diagnosis or castration and dehorning.

Please book in with the office in plenty of time from your test dates and we will always try to accommodate your requested testing dates and times. At Pembrokeshire Farm Vets we also offer Cymorth TB visits, which we feel are really worthwhile visit for all our farms. Please speak to us today if you want to find out more.

What is Cymorth TB?

Cymorth TB is a programme funded by the Welsh Government which provides a fully funded specialist visit by a trained OV to farms affected by TB. During the visit the OV from the farm’s chosen private veterinary practice will provide:
• support to the farmer on the disease management regime (including restrictions)
• advice on minimising the impact and understanding the risks associated with the disease

By working with you Private Veterinary Surgeon (PVS) we have local knowledge, as well as an overview of the health of your herd.
